Flagstaff is probably the best snow city to live in in the country. Tons of snow, not that cold in the winter, and summer is amazing!
Yep there temp averages are closer to Nashville during the daytime in the winter. They get snow in bunches that melts fast with highs in the mid 40s to lower 50s. Night time is cold though with lower teens common.

yikes, another shift like this one and you’ll be counting rain drops instead of measuring snow. Sorry I had to do it? I’ve been following this one with Interest but the gfs just changed dramatically this run. Hopefully the euro don’t follow it.

Yeah, today’s 12z GFS didn’t give me warm fuzzies! More and more rain looking likely!

It’s crazy cause it had trended from not much to looking really good. I had to do a double take looking at that map. Denver although still looking at a lot changed pretty big from the 6z to 12z also. Still plenty of time though and only one run.

Just looking at the GFS run, it didn’t transition to snow as early as it had been showing and by the time it did, rates were pitiful! Need it to get in NAM range and check thermals

You need the rain! The corn needs rain!
I’ve seen more snow in 3 months here, than I’ve seen my entire life total in Gastonia and GSP ! That’s counting 16” in January of ‘88!!
so there’s some food for thought!

It’s going to be interesting if Unc gets 8/9 in NCAA tournament to see what happens in 2nd round. Could be facing Illinois or Baylor.

Ummm we don’t need rain. We need to keep the weather like this for a while☀
I wouldn’t mind it staying dry it’s just dryness breeds dryness which is scary heading into the summer . April is also our driest month on average so if it’s already this dry can’t imagine April !
