I know that the west is drying out from the worst drought in over a 1000 years and these crazy heatwaves are making it worse which is exacerbated by AGW. I am willing to bet without AGW there would be no drought at all.

Worst drought in 1000 years ? So you are saying it happened before ... but then you are saying it wouldn’t happen if it was not for global warming ? BUSTED ! You yourself are confused on the subject matter as evidenced by the contradiction in your post .

AGW is making it much more likely so yeah no drought without AGW now but sure it would happen at some point due to probability increasing with time.

So the flood of 1862 is not even the worst possible as records show 6 floods even worse ... think about that ... worse than 10 feet of rain falling in 43 days... have happened that we know of last 1800 years . It’s also possible the next event is even worse ... inevitable . Can’t blame it on AGW

There are trees in the California desert, that are almost 5000 years old( Bristlecone Pines) I guess it’s never been hot, cold, wet,or dry enough, to kill them! I bet they have seen a lot of climate change and still thrive!

They are extremely well adapted to extreme conditions. We would all be dead well before it gets bad enough to kill them and they wouldn't burn anyway because they are isolated.

Not much in the way of extremes here in NC. This year has been very boring here weather wise. RDU has not had a low below 20 or a high above 94, with only the one quick snow event in late January. Not much in the way of interesting severe either. The most unusual weather we had was that freeze in late April.
 
if the Appalachians mtns were the tallest in the world then how much ice was wilkes county getting back then? even raleigh i would imagine cad would be even stronger back then. or was there drought? hello. i want answers on this @Webberweather53
 
question everything things folks. why does spectrum have a monopoly on internet? why does carolina west have a monopoly on phone service up here? bare with me, its DARK MONEY. its time we vote for anyone that promises to break up these monoplies why pay internet only $100. phone service is$ 85 alone.
 
duke energy monopoly dont get me started. how many repubs would vote for a democrat if they could get blue ridge energy to expand eastward into the piedmont? money money money
 
i wish one county in NC would grow some balls and say they will not sell nc lottery tickets. if no one wasted their money on it then local economy would benefit more than what the state loto says they do for us
 
combine resources mount airy and sparta need to connect and be one. bring housing and connect a road.
