Can someone at least acknowledge the tropical wave over the Atlantic that will influence rain chances into the Carolinas all the way to the mtns next week? Tropical. Sticky.

Here’s our setup maybe someone can quote this over to the June thread. Tropical wave ? will bring heavy tropical downpours and humidity for Georgia and the Carolinas. ESP western areas (Appalachian Mountains) going into next week. B896DD49-3AFF-4508-BE1B-A43D276BB0F9.png

Sooooo we may have an upper level system break off over the north central Atlantic today that retrogrades all the way to the Carolina coast in 5-7 days. Interesting it might be worth keeping an eye on just in case it tries to drill down to the sfc

Is Tampa Bay on the verge of having the best sports year ever? Last year Stanley Cup, then Bucs Super Bowl, now at least Stanley Cup finals.

Slight chance now this pulls a Katrina? Katrina was missed in the modeling. Possible Hugo track.

I need to with climate change it’s about to occur more rapid intensification just prior to landfall with less warning is the new norms. Factor in holiday crowds already coming in and any rain shower causes Charlestown to flood. It wouldn’t take much to have a natural disaster on our hands here.

This was posted before the NHC gave it any odds plus Brad P saw the post here and quickly informed his viewers to save his arse in case it surprises people.
