I thought of something, the vaccine is guranteed to kill a small amount of people due to adverse reaction. No question about it. You can ----- all you want about how ohhhh the chance is soooooo small. Ok cool, but when you force people to get vaccinated theres no way of knowing who will die because of it, its literally eugenics. You may end up forcing someone who otherwise chose not to get vaccinated to get vaccinated and they happen to be the one in a million or whatever that dies because of it, had they not been forced they would be alive...

On Friday, health care workers will be outside Duke University Hospital to speak out against the new vaccine requirements that come as new COVID-19 cases reach their highest totals in months.

That's true. My biggest worry is that we're facilitating conditions for the virus to mutate around the vaccines, where a stronger, more lethal virus emerges that is resistant to the medicine. This is all a great big experiment, at the end of the day. I don't have a lot of faith that we actually know what we're doing. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm starting to get a little worried.

Since I grew up with snow & cold (including living through the snowiest winter ever), I was already done with it when I moved down south. But this past February was the final nail in the coffin.

Death ridges + severe thunderstorms or bust!!!

Apex just gave birth to yet another thunderstorm that hit Holly Springs and Fuquay today. Now I know why they call Apex the "peak city"

It just rains there all the damn time. Apex to Moncure around Jordan Lake score the afternoon storms. Its like Florida. If I'm going to live in a single family dwelling where I have to maintain a yard, garden, and shrubbery, I'd like to have more frequent occurences of rain.

I've always hated heat. If I never saw anything above 90 and a dew above 60 again it would be just fine. But I will say I can't handle cold like I used to. I used to spend quite a bit of time up north in the winter and now that I don't I can't take as much of it anymore. Not sure if that's because I'm not exposed to it as much or if it is true that the older you get the more you dislike it.
 
Wow Disney and Walmart (corporate) requiring all employees to be vaccinated. Should see alot more follow in coming weeks. My employer (large bank) has already required we let them know vaccination status.

Yeah this is why I’m not a fan of either hot or cold weather. I’m a fan of seasons. I enjoy all types of weather, when it occurs at the time of year that it’s supposed to occur. I may not enjoy a 75 degree day in January, but I also don’t enjoy a 75 degree day in July either. It drives me crazy that the biggest snowfall IMBY over the last 3 winters occurred in April 2019.
 
Y’all seen that horrible show “ Outer Banks” it’s a disgrace . They shouldn’t taint the name of our wonderful outer banks with that cancer of a show . Seriously what is it ? A knock off of Dawson’s creek or something ? One tree hill? Seriously its horrible .
 
Congrats Elizabeth City Massive storm incoming. Small thunderstorm left Wilkes headed down i77. OBX show is actually filmed in Charlestown I believe
 
Elizabeth City should be sold to Virginia imo. I don’t clone that area as North Carolina it’s too far away

Cloning is illegal and it’s every bit as North Carolina thank you , in fact historically it’s more North Carolina than wilkesboro ... eastern NC is where NC started brother .
 
Did you know that the area Atlanta and NW GA is located was not part of the original 13 colonies ? Back then GA was basically southeast of where I-85 currently is.

Mine too. About 3 weeks after Sking for status, they sent an email saying those with no vaccine or who declined to answer will have to wear a mask and social distance at all times while in the office. Kiss freedom goodbye.

Actually it was… if you look at the first colonial map drawn by England, they claimed all the lands to the west of the Apps…. the problem was that at the time no one knew how far west the land went

Ours was if you decline to answer it will be assumed you are unvaccinated. Haven't seen anything about masks being required yet. We don't go back until October though (not client facing).
 
How do they expect to enforce this?

The State of Franklin actually. They should bring that state back honestly since all of our money goes into rebuilding the highway that fails every year near the ocean down east somewhere.
