Yeah.Britney Spears fallout? ?
But back in the old days you could always count on at least a good dusting of snow every year. Nowadays you can go 5 years without even seeing the ground white. You are correct! It almost never is, so don't get your hopes up.

Their temperatures are all screwed up. They're saying that Charleston and Wilmington are Icy despite being about 40 degrees.View attachment 107871Congratulations Atlanta. Y’all always get snow.
What? You don’t know about warm ice?Their temperatures are all screwed up. They're saying that Charleston and Wilmington are Icy despite being about 40 degrees.
I must have missed that lecture at weenie academy. What? You don’t know about warm ice?
One thing you must keep in mind, times are a changin'. Thangs dont work like they once did.At this point I'll take a quarter inch of slush. Not even sure that is doable anymore.
I know many people would like this to come like 100 miles northwest, but honestly I just don’t see it happening. The front that starts all this comes through in 48 hours on Thursday. The Euro has trended southeast for the past 3 runs. I just don’t see there being time for a trend reversal that big to happen. Sure the GFS trended northwest, but it’s northwestern shifts have stopped at least for now and seem to have met the Euro midway. I could be completely wrong, and I’d definitely like to see what the short range models have to say before saying that more northwestern areas won’t be in the bullseye, but this is looking more and more like a SE Virginia and NE/Central North Carolina storm as the models hone in on it. These areas haven’t scored in a long time, and I think they (myself included lol) deserve a decent storm lol. While the QPF does tend to overperform on the NW side in these events and hopefully that would put more people into the game, that wouldn’t necessarily be a NW trend.
There have been long stretches of no snow storms in Atlanta. Early 2000's were blank or really light events. Also, some really heavy snows have fallen near Atlanta in recent years, but just not at the official recording site. It's a crap shoot in Atlanta. I guess we need more volcanoes erupting and a real grand solar minimum to change things. One thing you must keep in mind, times are a changin'. Thangs dont work like they once did.
I'm hoping for this outcome. It's a good look for so many that have missed out over the years.![]()
If the Euro is right alot of people in NC outside the mountains get a decent snow.
Don't do this to meI think you are in a really solid place even with nuance movements over next 48hrs on the models.

CAE still nothing,I'm hoping for this outcome. It's a good look for so many that have missed out over the years.
I think you will be fine. Now down this way with the small sample size I have every system outside of March systems have verified lower than modeling or more mixed than modeling. We can't screw this up..can we...it starts in 60 hours and we have EPS agreement....?

This is the best shot we’ve had in years. This thing still has 84 hours to trend our way. It’s coming NW

I grew up in Riverdale on the south side and I seem to remember getting some snow most years. It’s a little foggy at this point.I got a light dusting in a few patchy areas.

This is just not an I-20 winter.
I’ll STOP THE COUNT with this map. Looks good.![]()

Endless buffet of copium when that NW trend hitsYeah Charlotte has had theirs, the NW piedmont has and if now the NE section and even down east gets it @SD will have to be banned before he throws the kill switch on the forum.
I'm standing outside in the beautiful sunshine and asking myself why I am wishing for snow. This sunshine feels really good.
Only at the airport. Stop being dramatic. The northwestern side of Atlanta got 12 in of snow back in 2017. I'm pretty sure that caught up those people with any snow droughts. This is the longest snowless stretch in recorded history for Atlanta.
