On one hand, having an early spring can be exciting cause it has you dreaming of summer but on the other hand, winter once again ending after Valentines Day is disappointing.

I guess we all got our hearts broken this year. ?On one hand, having an early spring can be exciting cause it has you dreaming of summer but on the other hand, winter once again ending after Valentines Day is disappointing.
That was a good one even though it changed to rain for a bit. It poured and stuck from the first flake.7 years ago today (2/25/2015), my last major snowstorm.

I’ve always preferred Finland vodka myselfIn protest of Russia, I got rid of my Russian vodka last night. I'm a bit hung over!

You try flonase? Got some last weekend. Seems to work well.Yeah I need to find out if they work... I keep putting it off and I'm already feeling it for this year...
I've tried all of those steroid nose sprays and all they do is get me hyped up.. apparently I'm sensitive to it... I've had better results this spring so far... I've been taking two Zyrtec allergy every morning... It's still early but so far I'm doing a lot better. You try flonase? Got some last weekend. Seems to work well.
Only 2 states in the entire contiguous not receiving snow in this image. Poor Phil and ...I got excited when I saw a thread posted since I honestly haven’t been paying attention to the weather recently, but I see that storm is not for us east of the mountains.![]()
Been dealing with those already for years here. Have fun swatting them down as they cover your trees and porches from midsummer through fall. The webs also linger a bit longer too as there were some still around by December.Guess who's staying inside all day![]()

That is horrible. I'd almost rather face WW III than have giant spiders landing all over the place when I'm outside. That sounds absolutely awful.Been dealing with those already for years here. Look a lot like the Golden Orb Weaver (Banana Spiders) that live in the lower part of the state, those things are massive. They are huge by Aug and Sept in the SC low country.Guess who's staying inside all day![]()

Ehh,. I hike and bushwack all the time . Day and night. So I have ran into my fair share of spiders head on . Just flick em off. The web is the worst part tbh. That is horrible. I'd almost rather face WW III than have giant spiders landing all over the place when I'm outside. That sounds absolutely awful.
Interesting, you sure they weren't these right here? I see these all the time. Not positive if Ive seen the golden orb weaver before though.Been dealing with those already for years here. The joro spider mentioned above is the same as this. Sounds like they are colonizing further inland. From what I have read they are common along the coast. It's worse when you find an overgrown area with a massive web about 15 feet long intermeshed with others that have 15 or 20 of them in it all together. If they pop up in your yard it's best to take them out while they're only the size of a quarter. That is horrible. I'd almost rather face WW III than have giant spiders landing all over the place when I'm outside. That sounds absolutely awful.
Yep, I only saw one of those this year. Very distinct webs vs Joro spiders. Joros webs are golden and very roughly made part of the time but also have a clear red marking on them. Their living habits also don't match those as mentioned above. They apparently started their spread from somewhere between Forsyth, Gwinnett, and Hall from about 2014 or 15 or so. Never had such a big spider problem until 2017 onward and we occasionally saw the native spiders.Interesting, you sure they weren't these right here? I see these all the time. Interesting , I’ll keep my eyes open this summer . They live in some parts of the state for a while so let’s see if I catch some this year here. Sounds terrifying lol.
