I'm one that's happy for you. I hope you get the 6-8. I never bought into this system for here so I'm not disappointed. I am kind of surprised the precip shield isn't expanding nw. But snow on snow, I don't remember ever seeing that. That alone gave me pause. I just hope I can manage 3.5 more at some point, either all at once or scattered out to reach double digits. That hasn't happened in 29 years here.Did SC not get any snow last week? And to think I was happy for you guys/gals
I think the NAM just loosened it's lug nutsI'm riding the rgem until it's wheels fall off
I hope you see it! I like to tune in every six hours and not know what you're going to get. It's better than long stretches of boring mild and dry where your only variability is whether you get to 72 degrees or only 68 with extra clouds.I'm one that's happy for you. I hope you get the 6-8. I have seen it lead the way before. However, it's not often.I'm riding the rgem until it's wheels fall off
Appreciate it! This storm has no chance to get me close to double digits but even an inch or so gets me closer. I hope Atlanta finally gets decent snow at some point too. It may actually be a couple more chances. Maybe one in the 7-8 day frame and experience tells me when this pattern finally does breakdown there will be something on the tail end.I hope you see it! February 3 1811Does anyone have any storms to reference where the storm is passing by and pops moisture this far west (mtns) at the very last minute before going out to sea? With the moisture coming from Columbia, SC or s/e of there.
What a storm that was.February 3 1811
January 2018 was a huge bust to the NW.Does anyone have any storms to reference where the storm is passing by and pops moisture this far west (mtns) at the very last minute before going out to sea? With the moisture coming from Columbia, SC or s/e of there.
It's garbage. We toss. Rgem is sampling the thingy better.![]()
Nam isnt horrible by any means
Did SC not get any snow last week? And to think I was happy for you guys/gals
Now its good.NAM isnt all that bad. Euro was great. I think parts of NC is looking good.
Now Im really feeling this. New Air Modified. NAMPeople arguing over ptypes. I just hope we get the qpf.
Do we still have the korean?I fully expect that the RGEM will cave to the NAM. FWIW, the FV3 model also looks like the NAM.

Somoan? Any model want to come forth and speak your piece????Do we still have the korean?
It has more time to offer melting than it did last week.Everyday, that sun angle is doing more push-ups! Prepare yourselves.
Done begun.`That was fun, lol. Meltdowns in 3,2,1
Not me. I want qpf. Im willing to sac some mixing issues for bigger storm. 1 inch snow totals arent my thing. This event is leaking some oil...we need the meso's to start fighting back tonight.
Although if they had come in amped we would grinding our teeth on that. ?
Fixed. Good post.Welp Atlanta and rest of NGA hopes appear to be dead on this one. The EASTERN Carolinas won the battle. In all seriousness now that my area is out of it, I hope the suppression trends stop and the eastern Carolina folk reel in a big one...just as long as we get the next one.
I was just wondering how we could mess this one up and then here come these 12Z runs. I think I may have figured it out. . .
2024So.....when is the next one? If not heat sure sounds pretty good.
