I think my point is being misinterpreted to an extent. I'm not targeting this community specifically or any specific members. I'd just like for people to be more aware of what's happening downstream of them sometimes as a whole. Not just in this potential, but anything from severe to hurricane, floods and drought, etc.

I've seen a lot of new members rooting for some meteorologically incorrect things for their back yard because they are reading that "so and so is good out west". I don't care to get into specifics, but people rooting for certain things in certain areas doesn't translate well for other areas, even their own sometimes if they're following the "good trends" being spoken and are new to the weather hobby.

Can’t say them words anymore. Hope we don’t start acting like Twitter and other SS platforms and remove post because it hurts feelings. People are soft these days. I love extremes and if I didn’t I wouldn’t be a weather weenie . I don’t wish for bad things on people at all but wanting extreme weather shouldn’t be a bad thing.
I love this place and I just don’t want to see it start becoming ---- box.

I have literally been in the bulls eye since Saturday morning, seriously day 5 now, there is no way that holds for that length of time so I fully expect this ramp up way NW or continue to shift east. The rug pull isn't even going to hurt b/c I fully expect it

What’s odd was the amount of people calling for heavy snow started back on like Saturday of last week. Even people who are usually conservative…wpc and tv Mets. I knew it couldn’t hold for that many model runs. And twc. Maybe wanted that extra bonus for ratings?
