Yeah, I've heard them all. No winter fun for my house on this one. Still thinking about chasing in Asheville, NC.
You'll do good there especially with all the lift coming off the escarpment. I've seen that area and points due west over through Brevard to highlands jackpots with these systems.

Per Brick...Sometimes the storm has to trend west before it can trend back east.

You know it's bad when even people along the I-85 corrdior areas in SC/NC are no longer rooting for NW trends. Also due the inland SC track, the worse of the icing on the 18Z GFS may end up being north of the I-20 area,which isn't the worst thing in world if the 850s are going to be too warm for sleet anyway. With the NW trends never ending, by this time tomorrow, there might end up being mixing issues all way into Mountains
