High of 76.8 today with thunder tonight. Then low 20s tomorrow night and snow.. I'm going to get a cold I know it.
There's going to be at least a small window here in the next 2 weeks where the eastern Carolinas are favored and we see a Miller A form off the coast or in the NE gulf before retrogression startsWe’ll there goes another winter storm for MBY. Amping up and going NW.
When am I going to ever learn?
That's ok though because I've been told we should just be happy to see a flake fly ?We’ll there goes another winter storm for MBY. Amping up and going NW.

Because they're huge wieners?Wonder why people feel the need to tell everyone what they should be happy with
I'd be thrilled to end as 1-2 hours of flakes. Even the big hit runs the last 36 hours had their challenges WRT to the temp profiles.Wonder why people feel the need to tell everyone what they should be happy with

Some like huge wieners.Because they're huge wieners?
Lol dude I would too but you know what I'm talking about.I'd be thrilled to end as 1-2 hours of flakes. Even the big hit runs the last 36 hours had their challenges WRT to the temp profiles.
Thank You!!!Because they're huge wieners?
Hey you can like whatever you like man. We're not here to judge. Some like huge wieners.
That's what she said.I want 6-8 inches…..
Don't look now.RAP looks better for the north CLT metro/western Piedmont/NW Piedmont into the triad due to the upper level low moving over, more then anywhere else now in NC outside east of the mountains View attachment 100777View attachment 100778View attachment 100780
Hey I was just saying there's a lot of weinering going on. We went from a flat wave that had issues advecting cold and crashing the column to a stronger wave and more waa initially but a much better chance to crash the column on the backend. Really a net 0 change for a good part of central NC minus your area which is really taking the L hereLol dude I would too but you know what I'm talking about.
There actually will be some well needed precip totals with this system for a lot of NC .. all good things from this systemAll the central NC peeps when they wake up on Monday View attachment 100783
On the 12Z CFS, not too far from a SE coastal winter storm 1/13, but it misses because the low is too far offshore:

Gee, I have insufficient privileges to reply in another thread, WTF? That is not very friendly on New Year's Day, LOL

My inner weather geek is coming out this is going to be so fun to radar track day of .. first system in a while I’ve actually been excited to track on radar and see live reportsThe hrrr may actually be on to something with those thunderstorms, euro shows some MUcape and pretty impressive flash rates, could be some graupel/small hail with these, pretty cool stuff View attachment 100845View attachment 100846View attachment 100847
