I personally drink more bourbon in the summer.. and Light beer possibly but not heavy beer for sure when it's hot

First good rain and all that small amount of dirt gonna run right off that cardboard.

Plus, those plants are going to roast in that 2-3" of potting soil. Such a shallow rooting zone with cook the roots.
