Yeah man, my first storm on Talkweather was the storm the day of Obama's inauguration in January 2009, haha. Wasn't much where I was in Greensboro, but in Raleigh that was a good one. My first big storm IMBY was March 2009, a good storm for many on this board! :)

I remember when you came to TW I think me and metwannabe were the only nc members at the time. Remember the inauguration storm well was buying the WiNtEr Is OvEr after new years from so many. I believe that storm is the last 6+ storm I've seen in person

There will never be another 1980 storm with the extremely cold temps and blizzard conditions. However, there will be other 1993 type super storms...... just not affecting the same area as the last one did.
