Fwiw, I got a job interview with NWS Flagstaff coming up. Flagsstaff averages 85" of snow per year and has seen as much as 210" in 1972-73. I would be in literal snow weenie heaven lol. ? ? ? ? ?

1980 National Championship game versus Nebraska. I was 10 years old and I loved football. It was the first bowl game I ever watched on my own TV that I had gotten for Christmas. A 13” black and white Zenith.

11/19/2000 is the last time snowfall greater than 0.1” was recorded at KGSP (2.5”). Snovember record is 4.0” at KGSP. @Webberweather53 is there some kind of legendary snovember event for NC?

Who can forget the Great Appalachian Storm of November 1950 ?!?!?! Much of WV got buried with 2 feet+. Much of Western and Central NC got snow with some areas getting over 6". Pittsburgh got 30" !!!

Yeah that was also a good one, not a ton of snow east of the mountains except for the climo favored areas of NW piedmont
