I always forget how much of a difference sun and clouds makes in transitional seasons. 61 and sunny is very different than 61 and cloudy

You guys are getting way too excited. 1. It’s November 2. Not a single EPS/GEFS member has any snow 3. No operational run is cold; we literally haven’t had a single noteworthy GFS crazy fantasy run.

However I am intrigued by the Ural block. -NAO in December, we’ll see, but in a sense, it sounds too good to be true.

Remember last year when -NAO would show up each week on the weeklies and never came? 10 years of -NAO in spring and summer. Just as soon as winter hits +NAO. 10 years man!!

Don’t. I’m a Michigan transplant (but a Clemson fan for 40 years) and Michigan football hasn’t been the same since Lloyd Carr retired. Hell, since Bo.
How on earth did you become a Clemson fan if you are from Michigan and live in Elizabeth City ? ?

Panthers offense has been looking explosive the last 2 games this is the best loosing record team I think I’ve ever seen

I couldn't imagine what I'd do w/ myself if I saw 210" of snow from October to May

I used to work with a guy that played football for Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. They would play a prank on Freshmen by throwing them out a 2nd story window into the snow drifts below knowing they were deep enough to catch them.

Fwiw, I got a job interview with NWS Flagstaff coming up. Flagsstaff averages 85" of snow per year and has seen as much as 210" in 1972-73. I would be in literal snow weenie heaven lol. ? ? ? ? ?
I’ve always wondered what would happen to my view of snow if I went and lived somewhere like that. Would I hate it? Would I love it more? I’m worried it would ruin snow for me

1980 National Championship game versus Nebraska. I was 10 years old and I loved football. It was the first bowl game I ever watched on my own TV that I had gotten for Christmas. A 13” black and white Zenith.

Yeah I'm not sure either but I feel like that would be one hell of an experience to say the least. Plus, the snow in Arizona is usually really dry/powdery so shoveling wouldn't be as bad as it is in the eastern US for ex.
