Interesting discussion about October snow. I'm surprised ATL had flurries in October 1993 when RDU has NEVER had measurable snow in October on record and has not had even a trace in October since 1910.

It’s easier for the cold air to make it over the mountains to us so it probably has something to do with that. Both times I’ve seen it it timed up with the cold rushing in late in the day too. That early you need all the help you can get.

My son and me, last October! He’s 12 in that pic, I’m 6’7”! 2-3 years ago with the gopher tortoise I caught near Daytona, this year with the mask. Move to selfies if need be , I’m still learning! ?
