Misc 2020 Banter Thread

Funny story, in the regional finals I was clocked at 20.0 in the 220yd dash! However, the stupid starter got confused by the relay markers and started us at the 200yd line. Oh well, I was famous for 15 minutes I guess! :cool:Another guy I ran against was Rufus Ferguson (who I beat) who went on to have a fabulous FB career at Wisconsin as a RB.

I remember I was first leg in the 4 by 100 relay and we were winning the race against the number one team in Georgia until the fourth leg person was nowhere to be found and was in the bathroom.

I could at one time. I’m at 180 now and can only put up 325 as of last week. So I need more steroids to hit 360.

I got to get a colonoscopy tomorrow . Was in Greenville today actually just because , sadly couldn’t visit Sam Jones since I can’t eat anything but damn lemon flavored Italian ice. Just drank one bottle of the Magnesium sulfate they gave me . Have to drink one more at 5 am.

I actually was scheduled for one in November. Got cancelled and rescheduled for today. Clean bill of health. One 10mm polyp removed and some small pockets of diverticulitis. Told me to eat more fiber and come back in five years.

Yeah , that’s what my prep was the last 2 colonoscopies . This time it’s 2 bottles of magnesium sulfate . I’d rather the Miralax since you take it and get done. I have to wake up at 5 am and drink one more bottle of this stuff for gods sake .TMI but I’m typing this from the shitter ... it’s starting . God I want some real food!

Worst thing ever was when I had to drink Barium sulfate for my CT scans when I had cancer and the 10000 CT scans that followed. I might vomit thinking about it

I think they prescribed that to me once for some reason . I didn’t take it , I just remember my mom saying that’s what they give cancer patients . Maybe not barium sulfate but something real horrible apparently . Zofran I think . Didn’t take it .

Zofran is to keep you from throwing up. I never had to take it when I was going through chemo and never felt sick. I was actually hungry most of the time

Zofran, Ondansetron, is an anti-emetic similar to Phenergan, but without the barbiturate like effects.

From what I've heard repeatedly, Phenergan will knock one on their ass unlike Zofran

Yes it will. It used to be compounded with Demerol in a 2ml syringette. It was 50mg of Phenergan and 100mg of Demerol. It was called Mepergan. Would knock your ---- in the dirt.

Turned 50 recently. Gonna delay colonoscopy as long as I can. :oops:

I have gotten my first of two shingles shots though. Must wait until after Jan 20th for the second. Several friends/family have had shingles. Described as "Hell on earth"
