It has been awhile
Beta died Paulette will probably die tonight and Teddy will be dead after it clears Canada tomorrow meaning the Atlantic will have no active storms
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

12z Euro and 12z GFS agree with the start of something down in the lower Carr on 10/3.
10/3 has been the start date for previous GFS runs that showed development.....

12Z EPS: virtually no support and much quieter than 0Z
I'm leaning to the GEFS because I'm biased by the ENSO based analogs I've been using. Also, the EPS hasn't been stellar on picking up on things in advance.
