Hard to believe that San Antonio, TX got 13" of snow in 1985. They are at the same latitude as Daytona Beach. Could you imagine Daytona Beach getting that much snow ?

Yes, and we would still get cold rain in NC

The only difference between you and Flagstaff is 6,500'. You are actually a little further north than Flagstaff.

Even at 6500 feet In NC I don't think you could quite match the snowfall averages of Flagstaff. It would be close though.

Flagstaff is actually around 7,000'. I was just deducting SD's elevation from Flagstaff.

Progressive derecho and on the E side of a 591 dm ridge with 90/70s and @SD missing every storm
