I'm sorry but,
Why can we not ever get two good EPS runs in a row!? One is good, and the other gets significantly worse! SMH
Because we truly do suck for snow and cold. The good days are long gone. Maybe one day they'll return. But will we be around to see it?

Gatlinburg is SLAMMED today. This is what happens when cities close down and cancel their own holiday parades. People flock to the happening spot and bring their money with them. Parade got cancelled because of weather last night but everyone is out in full force today. Must be a million people here. Crazy

Strange time to be asking, but I just looked back through the SPC archives and noticed that the last time anywhere in the US had at least an enhanced risk of severe weather was September 5th, 2020. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but that feels like a very long time to go without that high of a severe weather event.

#saving lives. Lack of severe weather and tornados saves lives.

Totally agree with that. Just find it interesting how it’s been 3 months since at least an enhanced risk of severe weather was put out anywhere in the United States especially during the fall severe weather season.
Yea we didn’t have that normal November outbreak. Tornadoes have been down for years for some reason along with our winters. hm ?

Closest thing we had was from the remnants of Delta. Interestingly that was the first time in a while we had that much tornado activity from the remnants of a hurricane up here.

I dont know what's wrong with me but Im really not in the mood for winter this year. Kinda wish it was late March and baseball season was starting.

I generally love cold weather, hate extended warm/humid, but this year is a little different.. having a lot more health issues in my 52nd spin around the Sun, and this even moderate cold spell is getting to me. Feels like frozen rats are clawing in my joints and dying there.

Where's my violin lol

As I see it, that’s a problem with moving north. Higher snow expectations that don’t allow one to enjoy what one used to enjoy as a southerner. That’s the great thing about here. Wintry precip is so rare that just seeing flurries, a few pellets, or a tiny bit of ZR is very exciting.

Exactly. It only took me one winter in Massachusetts to go from a total snow weenie to despising snow.
