I predict in the next 24 hours the models will bring back the storm for next weekend, and some of you say you won't get sucked back in again, but you will anyway, and when that happens the rug will be pulled again and it will make it worse! Bwuhahahaha.

Just passed ten years since we enjoyed the Groundhogs Day blizzard in Kenosha, WI. 23 inches of snow, 45mph winds...gorgeous thundersnow. Truly a once in a lifetime event even in the Midwest.

When I see the wishcasting on some of these recent threads...it gives me a laugh. I always root for snow for those who haven't experienced that type of weather. Bring on the warmth...let me open my damn pool!
 
That is actually nothing more than six inches of hard packed snow and power lines that were built low to the ground because they couldn’t climb or afford ladders. They used to build them to also hang laundry on.
Back in the 30's your are correct
