@metwannabe what was winter like in the 1800s?
Before European settlers arrived in the 1500s central NC was an ice cap where temperatures rarely rose above freezing even in the sumner. Then it all changed. By 2100 our climate will be like that of Havana today. RIP.

Roxboro will be down to 36 inches per year by that point
 
I've moved on to summer boys. Pool, beach, thunderstorms, sunlight until 9, grilling every weekend, and booze. Well I guess booze is a year round thing, but whatever. ---- this ------- rainy cold --------!
 
Get used to hearing cloudy and drizzly with highs in the low 40s. Looks like the warm front will stay down to our SE today
Oh snap. I dont know if its the gin, but everything on here is funny today. I know its early guys...come on now

Honestly I love the weather its fascinating but watching models is so frustrating especially since they're not working because of covid . I hope we get some snow but if not it is what it is

When did the models get covid? You're not talking about weather models...oh, i see.
 
Why not have a thread where nothing modelwise can be posted or talked about thats more than 72 hours out? That way when you read that thread you KNOW there is going to be a storm to talk about.
