Sorry, but if it doesn't produce snow for the majority of folks here, then it's either not a great pattern, or it was a great pattern in the past because it produced and it just doesn't work as well now because our climate is different.

Warm and dry would feel great.
Replace the word "snow" with the word "cold" and your sentence actually makes sense. It is completely rubbish as is because that is NOT how it works.
I just want to see a period of sustained cold again like we saw in February 2015 or January 2018, where we know surface temps won't be the problem. 2018-19 and 2019-20 lacked more than a few days of sustained cold. It has been nearly two years since RDU saw a subfreezing high or a sub-20F low.
Man the EPS really pooped on the party today.

The last 45 days probably would have been an epic crappy grab bag of either 35 degree rains or 60/60 rains if this was a nino and the whamby thread would some how be worse
No need to panic. I'm not. The pattern on the EPS probably has as good of a chance as what we're in now and we don't have to freeze our ass off waiting!
Lol I can hear it now how do we get a -NAO and rain in a nino this always used to be snow. How do systems cut in a nino with a -NAO. Ninos used to be colder

Depends. Seems like there's not much middle ground. Go into warmth or get blocking and have memorable cold

I haven’t had any accumulating snow in over 3 years now. The next 10 days my lowest forecasted temperature is 30 degrees. So yeah this snow drought has gotten to me. My annual average is supposed to be around 10 inches of snow.

It's not a competition. That's not what I said. If it doesn't produce like is used to in the past, then it's not really a great pattern, or what used to be a great pattern doesn't produce like it used to. It's that simple.
