The north meck area will get some eye of Jupiter type thunderstorms on the daily instead !

I am just wondering what the chances are for central/western AL? Some forecasters say there’s a chance and some say not at all. Temp never made it past 37° today.

It's close. Waa is kicking in aloft not there are a lot of wetbulb snow soundings late Sunday into early Monday.

Yep. Feels like a more marginal pattern coming up but we get to play the waiting game for now.

It is pathetically poetic we get this huge -AO/-NAO pattern finally....... that is absolutely and depressingly room temperature. We literally cannot win anymore.

I don't know what to root for or look for anymore. I'm a lost weenie sheep in need of a weenie shepherd.

Summer thunderstorms have always been meh for me, it feels like they happen nearly every day. Snow is something that is actually special.
I would agree with you, but snow is something that falls for 30 minutes or less, so summer storms/summer > winter and its dry, cracking cold and lack of snow/looking at models only to get nothing
