The GEFS has really been quite active in showing some sort of wintry weather here. At least out of the 2/3 of the members shown on COD. There are quite a few big storms on them.

From Feb 8 2020... does this look like 2.7 inches to you? Still haven't figured out how the airport recorded that much while every place around it scored 3.5 to 5 inches: 
^Hope we get that this go around, only with temps in mid teens, and it stays on the ground for 2 weeks... the rest of the winter can be warm for all i would care.

Let's go ahead and torch up east coast folks and get it over with! We already know we can torch from mid December to mid March as the last few years have taught us. But no way can we do it from Mid October to mid March can we?

Yeah but the 2nd half of October and November last year were below average. Imagine how bad that map would have looked without that cold period!

Yeah it would be wild. Dec-Feb was pretty much the hottest DJF on record for a lot of us. This is T-rank.

Lol there a actual mean for CAD areas in VA on the EPS from that southern stream wave interacting with that SE Canada low
Nobody can screw up a winter like the southeast! Especially south and east of the mountains.

Cold west warm east. Tends to be the theme every year. Maybe that will change soon.
I'm trying not to get mad because I know we need to flip the script from the past 2 years and torch end of October and November and see where that gets us come winter. But deep down I have a sinking feeling regardless of what Nov does we're going to find ourselves in the same sinking ship come winter!
