Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

We're deleting model performance discussion from the storm thread? That's fine, I can moderate myself if that's how we're going to play.
 
I am not even sure the potential winter storms is going to happen. I’m going to wait until Thursday before locking in.

Again to everyone. A thread will be made when it looks like that potential system will dominate the general monthly thread.

As a side note, starting/not starting threads at a certain time doesn't change the outcome. Starting threads for systems that fail will happen from time to time even if they were started at 12 hours out. Posts questioning why or when threads are started will be deleted moving forward.

oh boy lmao...I remember that over at accuweather. There was runs showing a big time storm and people were throwing around 1993 like comparisons and....poof! I actually vaguely remember some things from it on TW (although I didn't move over to the weather side there until 10/11) and it's where Psalm's pic of a groundhog holding a gun comes from!
