Honestly? While I could definitely be wrong, I would be off the rails if I was in Upstate SC over this one. I'm not sure I see a way for them to score through this one without a fresh cold airmass. This either tracks inland with an earlier phase and is mostly a miss outside of north of I-85 or with a later phase it's also a miss. If the cold airmass was fresh, they could still see some light snow I would think with the later phase.

Nah why give someone something that may interest them? It should be "Gets cold rain instead" as that's more miserable.

Yeah that’s true lol I think most would rather contend with the excitement of a severe weather outbreak than cold rain. It’s been a while since I’ve had a good storm chase
You had like 6 winters worth of snow last winter. Going by the law of averages, you should see another flake in 2022.

So....my weekend had to be filled with local met telling us this pattern is just not conducive for winter weather in NC, and then suffering through yet another freaking NE Patriot superbowl appearance. Urgh!!!!!

It’s awesome how the warm temps on the gfs suppress the storm track down to the equator. This winter is so weird.

It's ok, like others was saying, just listen and learn. It's way to early to know what will happen, until then it's model madness.
Only way we will ever score an event over 2” is for the northern stream to obliterate our wave and have a strung out precip field stretch from Arizona to Georgia moving due east with a 1094 in WV. smh
