Temperatures for December at Nashville averaged 4.6 above normal. Does that qualify as a torch? If not, it's pretty close
 
Imagine there's a heaven, it's easy if you try. No more warm noses, no cutters too. Imagine if all the moisture met cold air too, ooooh. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one; I hope someday you can sled with us, and the whole SE forum can....

Yep, nothing beats having your county bisected by a winter storm, and finding yourself on the wrong half. There's nothing worse in a winter than being in the area that's the "red headed step child"

the airport hasn't measured snow here since March 2015

Only 2 more months of nothing and we can go for a 4 year streak!

I think i get closer to moving north everytime these borderline storms fail

We should take a poll on who is canceling winter. Somebody set the line. I’ll take the under.

I am not canceling. The best part is about to get started January 15th onward.

I would like to make a bet. I still say 75 percent of us will get a 1 inch of snow or more.

Yeah I'm still in for winter. The next 2 weeks look warm but at least it itsnt a straight torch in the 70s. The second half looks promising for the month.

Well that counts towards the 75 percent. I forgot about them getting a storm already. Lol
I say it safe to say we can lower that down to 60 percent to go.

But, I think they might get another snowstorm beside the one they had earlier.

It is almost a perfect day here. I have my doors open to let the house air out. It would be the perfect day if it was sunny instead of cloudy
