Need to try the chicken rice bowl from Bojangles if you never tried it.
Tired of the rain and mornings in the 30s. Give me weeks of dry and hot please. Just now coming out of the wettest year on record that would never end. Road projects are behind in Wilkes. Already above normal rain for May.
What is everyone's thoughts on Church's?
I'd say it's the worst tasting of all of the fried chicken chains, although their honey butter biscuits are good.

Not so fast ..... I really like the the direction they are going in right now. Home-grown players from the farm mixed in with some veterans. How about we just see what happens, before writing them off for the season. That kid that was called up last night might just be the spark that we have been waiting to see.
They have paved roads in Wilkes?
Pretty much sums up my thoughts. Their apple pies are not half bad either.
Thanks RC..... it's amazing, this guy was a huge proponent of annual physicals, had his every year and in fact is how they found the leukemia. Really thought they found it in time

I think Wilkes still holds the title for the most dirt roads in the state. I hate when my phone takes me on one with no guard rails on a side of a mountain.
Rendezvous Mountain is a great place off the beaten path if your looking for something to do in Wilkes. Paved in places. The trees have buttons you can press and they will lecture you. Good waterfall trail too in less than 4 miles down and up hills.
Weird question, does bluegill taste good ?
