Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Fun fact of the day: Indiana has hills/mountains ! I know Indiana has a reputation for being flat and boring, and for much of the state thats true. But believe it or not, some areas of the state are quite beautiful.
I really like the area just outside of Terre Haute. I spent a week in Seelyville a couple of years back. Yes, there are still some good looking areas in Indiana.
 
Does “oof” mean that things look more ominous/robust/bigger impact, or does it mean things are looking weaker/less impactful? Seems like it’s used both ways. I want to know how to properly utilize it.

There are so many meanings to the word oof, but the one you are looking for is that it's more severe of an impact.

I really like the area along the Ohio River in Indiana. There are hills right along the river in some areas. The southern half of Indiana is definitely more scenic than the northern half.
