I hate you . I was being so productive at the house getting so much done for my huge pregnant wife before she gets home and now I’m on the couch watching these cams

37/26 in Lithia Springs, clearly not expecting anything here tomorrow but rain with maybe a brief onset of sleet and brief as in 3 minutes if any at all haha(and that’s highly dependent on how fast precip moves in, the later the least likely it is). East wind around 6. At least we got something to track when we didn’t think we’d see anything to track for a while!

St. Louis people stranded on the interstates for hours

Based off what I saw on ironically...secrant, it seems like the state of Missouri was as unprepared for an OBVIOUS storm as Atlanta was for the 1/28/14 snow.

On another note, LMFAOOO, guess I should go down to where my aunt/step uncle live now to see some snow, eh?

(the snow isn't exact to where they live, but it's pretty close)

I really like that alot of the areas to the north and west is seeing snow. Our best winters happen. When the snow pack build to our north and west. So we should be rooting for those to the north and west to receive their snow.

I know that’s a necessary evil but after the 20th cutter I will be done being “happy” a storm tracks over/north of us to build snowpack.

This snowpack to the northwest business...is that really a factor for the lower southeast? I get that it can keep an airmass cold but surely there are several factors that are way more important

There is NOTHING more important than building a snowpack to the north. I think if you have that, blocking is less necessary.

Regardless of who may or may not get snow, it at least looks like that we will go through an extended period of cold weather for the first time all winter.
