I’m sorry but this post is a little annoying. We all don’t have luxury of being way up north averaging 20 plus inches of snow a year like you do now. Models have been showing anywhere from 2-5 inches here and 1-3 south of here and that’s a big deal if you don’t live in northern Indiana.Im not sure what everyone is seeing to get so excited, but it looks to me like next weeks event is a nuisance at best with maybe an inch or so ? Whats all the excitement about?
I guess being up here for a year I forgot how even a minor snow event is a big deal in the south. My apologies.I’m sorry but this post is a little annoying. I can’t even win a T-shirt smhThe next southernwx giveaway should be a trip to Siberia... that way someone can experience -50F temps and all the snow they want. @Jimmy Hypocracy, you interested?
Yeah even if the stars align there’s still nothing to hold our HP in place. Roxboro special incomingOh boy Raleigh, Charlotte, and GSP get shafted (as usual). Looks legit!
Do something about those notifications. You are going to drive me crazy hahaPants obliterated! View attachment 12998
Yes it’s easy to forget especially up there. Even being here in northern Tennessee it is a fine line of posting snow pictures out of excitement while at the same time trying not to come off as rubbing it in someone’s face. I never purposely try to do it but am guilty of it also due to my sheer love and joy for snow storms. Anyways let’s hope this one doesn’t dry out for any of us as so many of them do. 2 inches of snow will make me more then happy!I guess being up here for a year I forgot how even a minor snow event is a big deal in the south. My apologies.
But the EPS has a 3” mean for us. That’s got to mean something.

Man it went quiet in here, but anyways I haven’t changed my thoughts on Nc, altho I really do hope we can get a separate wave to develop for more expansive/heavier precip, with this setup it’s that type of thing where models will lose it than bring it back
what a miserable comment..is that because you may be left out? Sounds like you are wishing it happens for the rest of us...really lameCalm Before the Storm of 18z model runs. It will be jumping when all the snow is taken away.

This is the thread you come to when you are annoyed or in order to get annoyed. It’s working properly!I’m sorry but this post is a little annoying. hahahahahahahah great comparison. Totally agree. If you think about it, the last time we beat Clemson was Fall of 2013 and we got a Winter storm that Winter. Ever since, Clemson has beat us... and guess what? We have not had a winter storm since the last year we beat them... hmmmI’m convinced South Carolina will beat Clemson in football before Columbia will see snow again. This is getting ridiculous.
