Looks like Arizona Cypress trees are around $50 a pop for a 2-3 footer! Yikes! And seeing as how I’ll need quite a few to stagger the road line at my house, it’s not going to be cheap. It’s an investment, though, so I’m not sure if I want to go the cheap route or not. It would be well worth it to plant a Cypress tree that wasn’t prone to bagworms. I’m going to look more into it
You should be able to get 3 gallon plants at Lowe’s or Home Depot for about 27$ or so. I planted one last spring , 3 gal and now it’s pretty close to 6-7’ tall from Lowe’s

Have you tried looking at some local mom and pops nurseries? I found two at appletree orchard in Lexington, SC last year that were already around 3 feet tall for under $30.

Have any of you planted any maple trees? What are your preferences?

Red maples are pretty good. They have great red fall color, silver maples are good too. Of course, Japanese maples are fantastic, just do research and see which ones do good in the heat and in the South. Most like dappled shade, or even mostly shade. But there are a few red ones that can take full sun here in the south. They are expensive, but buy small, they grow faster and are a lot tougher, than most think!

I have heard both depending on what it is played on.

With that said, Yanni forever!

They're proposing expanding the NCAA tournament to 72 teams. Next thing you know, it will be 80, 88, 96, etc.
