Look at the sports curses that have been broken the last few years:
The Chicago Cubs 2016, the Houston Astros 2017, this year the Washington Capitals.... Perhaps there's hope for the Bengals yet. LOL

my parents and little brother came to visit so I've been going everywhere with them
 
Everyone say a prayer for me, just got offer a higher up at my job. This would put me in full swing management, great increase with pay/benefits, bonus, and bigger responsibly over many ppl. Also headache, write ups, send home, and the point system, LOL!!! I'll be ok.

Ovi finally got a well deserved Cup.
 
With everything I know about my dad, the thing that I least understand is how he's very stubborn with changing technology.

He has always been, from Windows 95 to now with a dual DSL/wireless router that is a little over 7 years old. It was bad during it's day but it now drops so much it's so freaking irritating. Used to be better on the wired internet, but even that is dropping.

And yet my dad says no to changing it.

How’s the Bermuda doing? Just got my first cucumbers off the vine! First time ever trying to grow these! Found five more after this! Not bad for four plants. They almost grow like kudzu.

The thing is, originally on wired, it wasn't bad. Now it is (and my dad for some reason, isn't replacing the router) and unfortunately cable is unavailable outside of xfinity and it's a company we're not going to use again. (There's no interest in satellite internet)

What is Hellmann's Real Mayo, chopped liver? I've never eaten a mater sandwich though. And I've also never used Duke's mayo to be fair. But if I'm making tuna or egg salad, Hellmann's will be in it. Yummy for the tummy!

Hellmann’s is all we use also! I think anything is fine, as long as it’s not miracle whip, gag!! The Dukes mayo plant is about 15 min from my house!

Yes, go Hellmann's! Miracle Whip, I'll pass. But Blue Plate is what really makes me want to gag. Yuck!

I feel your pain. I dealt with the pain and misery of DSL up until 16 months ago when I switched to Xfinity, haven't looked back since. They weren't my first choice or my second for that matter, I wanted Google Fiber, but it's not available on this side of town where I am and neither is AT&T Fiber which makes even less sense with the latter because the DSL service was from AT&T. They told us they didn't offer high speed internet or fiber internet to my zipcode only the crappy DSL.

Dang, luckily I was able to get fiber optic here, love it!
 
EPB fiber optics here in Chattanooga is the bomb... switched over from Comcast several years back and the difference in performance and customer service is light years. I guess we're lucky to have it here.
 
Boy, it’s busy in here! All the rain was exciting I guess!
 
It’ll be real refreshing to read the winter threads to cool off, while we suffer through about 10-15 days of 95 degrees and zero rain! After May, drought was the furthest thing from my mind, but looking likely with these upcoming conditions!
