I see we're in for another sequel to the movie GFS vs. Euro again. I saw how the ending of the movie was for the 8th-9th storm this month, I would be very surprised if we got a different ending for Christmas weekend. I'm not sure why I'm even following this storm because I have virtually no chance of anything wintry here, but I guess I'm hoping the Euro may have the right idea of a cool/chilly Christmas instead of yet another warm Christmas.

I certainly have no room to complain as I saw more snow than Ive seen in the last 6 or 7 winters combined but some areas didnt fare as well. I think south and east of the city got very little.

Has it really been 3 years since we had a storm over an inch? Maybe I got more here. I know it's been a while since we had a good one at least 6 inches. We are so due.

Last I saw was Feb 15, last 2 winters were like .5-.75

I am a NC native. Almost 32 years old and lived in Wake and Johnston County my entire life. I have never seen more than 7.5" in a single storm and that wasn't Jan 2000 it was Feb 27, 2004. For me, it has never ended.
 
Where's the Southern Wx in house model? I heard our in house model is way more accurate than the GFS. Lol.

For real though, it would be cool if we had a in house model.
