Still riding the line. Mostly snow. Flipping back and forth from snow to sleet snow mix. Need rates with this one
Definitely need rates. This with light precipitation is sleet but get a big band of precip and this is a burst of snow

The pine trees around me already have accretion at the tops. It's 31 degrees. The Radar is filling in. This could be very bad for ATL/NGA with power outages later on!

No more than 15 minutes of fatties at a time then peters back down to dandruff.
Almost 2" here still got time
Well got up to 33.6 today in Dallas GA it appears to slowly be creeping back down we are at 32.7 now so dropped about 1 degree in a hour. It will be interesting to see if we float below freezing at or before some of those heavy showers move in from Birmingham we see just what sorta freezing rain bump it gives IF we actually get below freezing that is

I am still a novice but I am worried that we are going to be on the low side of things from sleet. Hopefully we can get some heavier returns but I'm not so sure.

This has moved into more than a nuisance for the inland Charleston metro
every flake stuck in Wilkes co. Ground white ahead of schedule. 28 over 25 so it’s not a cold miserable snow. More of a wet snow that’s enjoyable it’s ripping
Yeah same here. Kinda wish that FGEN band that hit areas further south translated further north this AM.

I can see GSO and INT possibly over performing for this event. This is a rich get richer type storm with the frontogen on the leading edge of the warm nose. If you’re cold enough, you just snow harder.

95%snow/ 5% sleet mix. Heavy. Hasn’t amounted to a lot yet but we’re keeping the faith

holding I say at 33 degrees with the other precip from ATL. the radar has a mix over me but just checked, nothing is falling.

Sleet ZR currently. Glaze has formed. Only 0.1" has been melted or compacted.
