Yeah I take either of those in a heartbeat, still believe a lot of that on the south edge of the blues is sleetView attachment 162061View attachment 162062The HRRR and RGEM are almost identical placement wise, just the RGEM a little colder and the HRRR has snow further north
Experience! I believe we’ve seen every way a storm can turn against our area.I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm concerned about everything all the time!
Yeah but his area isn't your area anymore, he needs to stop whining.....Experience! I believe we’ve seen every way a storm can turn against our area.

My NAM sounding looks like this showing ZR. I think this could verify as heavy wet snow potentially. If your sounding looks like this tonight and tomorrow ride the lightning and enjoy the weather it's the only weather you getView attachment 162069
I agree, That has to be the influence of rising daytime temps the Hrrr is depicting. Timing is very delayed. That appears to be wrong and affecting snow totals to a certain extent.Really annoying that the Hrrr doesn't start precip here until 2pm. The Euro AI and GFS start at 7am... How is the gap that wide?
Yeah always gotta remember with a sounding like this you might sleet or drizzle with lower rates but be absolutely ripping saucers with higher reflectivity. My NAM sounding looks like this showing ZR. I think this could verify as heavy wet snow potentially.

Best part is that this would be in the main band. That would be ripping feathers.Yeah always gotta remember with a sounding like this you might sleet or drizzle with lower rates but be absolutely ripping saucers with higher reflectivity.
No way the NAM is completely folding after being on an island, expected!

The NAM is about 1-2 degrees warmer after around 4pm in SC. Still a bad icestorm it looks like north of Columbia.NAM might be colder but still a nasty ice storm for many.
Probably came up some when clouds moved inDon’t know what it means for downstream or upstream relative to your location, but without precip, here, temp has risen 1°F since sunset. Just an FYI.
This is still absolutely a possibility! More than any of us want to admit!NAM might be colder but still a nasty ice storm for many.
Ummmm that’s not good FV4 took almost all of it from NC what happened ?

Goes to show how razor thin folks are going to be for hours with this system. Forecast errors of less than 1 or 2 degrees will have big implications on many backyardsMy NAM sounding looks like this showing ZR. I think this could verify as heavy wet snow potentially.
