Checking in 10 miles north of Asheboro, NC. 27/7. Bring it on.
Would be smashed here. A couple inches of snow and sleet followed by a 0.75” of ZR.
The RGEM hasn’t budged.

Yeah I take either of those in a heartbeat, still believe a lot of that on the south edge of the blues is sleet

Don’t know what it means for downstream or upstream relative to your location, but without precip, here, temp has risen 1°F since sunset. Just an FYI.
Experience! I believe we’ve seen every way a storm can turn against our area.

I agree, That has to be the influence of rising daytime temps the Hrrr is depicting. Timing is very delayed. That appears to be wrong and affecting snow totals to a certain extent.

Is there something similar to radarscope that runs on windows/chrome? Mostly want decent radar and mPing reports?
Yeah always gotta remember with a sounding like this you might sleet or drizzle with lower rates but be absolutely ripping saucers with higher reflectivity.

NAM might be colder but still a nasty ice storm for many.

The NAM is about 1-2 degrees warmer after around 4pm in SC. Still a bad icestorm it looks like north of Columbia.
Probably came up some when clouds moved in

Goes to show how razor thin folks are going to be for hours with this system. Forecast errors of less than 1 or 2 degrees will have big implications on many backyards
RGEM is owning the short range models right now. All is trending it’s way. Not surprising.
That probably means lights out for me later.
The nam is ass. Double ass. Just folded to every other short range model 
Honestly I don’t think this is that unrealistic?
