Easy half inch in the last 20 minutes
Here we go darker greens on radar starting to fill in and banding getting more impressive with cooler cloud tops moving in
I don’t think we get big flakes with these cold temps big flakes usually come at 32 degrees

133 accidents just in Mecklenburg County since 9!
Looks like these bands are going to really consolidate as the energy west is moving up from the southwest. Should be the best snow of the night for us Triangle folks over the next 2 hours.
No clue how I lived without CC, super accurate, just flipped and structure improving by the minute. Let’s go!
Just think how much worse it would’ve been if this hit a few hours earlier, too.

You can also really see on the radar how the storm is tilting now more towards a north south vs an east to west orientation. It should really help to get it cranking!
