HRRR was kinda a good news bad news deal with Augusta. Good news is maybe some mix to start before going over to snow, bad news is the band won't last as long as westward.

And sadly SCweather, the ICON initialized too cold this time with me, lol. It doesn't look all that good in the area that I said highest impact though.

The highest possible impact was always going to be NC with this one. It might be too low in GA but GA always was going to see light amounts.

Hey Eric you can answer this. Is the algorithm for Kuchera snow maps messing up. I noticed it always looks less than the regular 10:1. I feel like we should average around 14:1

I don't think that is whats happening. GFS has trended towards the other models which validates them. We're getting a consensus finally..

I’m learning that not even radar is the best indicator of snow with this event. The snow is dry and fine, so it doesn’t show up with as heavy of a return on radar.
