I'm also right under the 21.6 point. Holy
We are cooked. Another south trending snow storm.
Sorry is the pessimist in me. Not trying to be a downer. Just hopeful for 2-3 and I would be happy. We’ve all been burned a lot lately and it’s hard to keep those memories down.Cherry picking the worst model run and dooming about it is so silly. The general consensus for Charlotte is for greater than the seasonal average at once. That, in and of itself, is a win. Whether it’s 5” or 7” is relatively meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Enjoy this!! It doesn’t happen often.

I agreeThink I'm just going to stay in here
This looks just like those GFS runs, like 8 in a row, when it locked in on when Identifying this threat.
Yea, Back here in the N. Foothills/ NW Piedmont we seem to be getting the min showing up on almost all models and runs. Big Frosty, PowerStroke , and me are getting use to it "if it can go wrong it will" hereAt least they pushed the blues just northwest of me with new update. @BIG FROSTY not gonna be happy

if mid GA scores multiple inches off this while we get blanked after SO MANY DAYS of our floor being 2-3 inches and a ceiling so much higher, i................wont be in an emotionally good place lmao. The main thread with SC and GA cheerleaders is painful to read
Not sure there is a trend there, just violently moving the jackpot around from run to run. Where will it land at go-time! Tune in tomorrow morning to find out!!!
I was about to make the same observation. Could also do the same for 3km vs 12 km NAM. Absolutely no consensus. So we have a developing coastal storm and one of the NAMs gave me (on the coast) less than 0.2 inches of QPF with only half of that frozen! Not sure there is a trend there, just violently moving the jackpot around from run to run. Where will it land at go-time! Tune in tomorrow morning to find out!!!
If this isn't your all's biggest snow since Fab Feb 2004, then we should just shut down this forum and go home because it's never going to happen!Ok….. so ummmm CLT Metro all 4 18Z’s so far in that 9-13” range …. Cut it by .25 and that’s our number I’d assume
Starting to feel really good about 6-8” here in the metro

Oh yeah, you're far enough north you got crushed in 2014 by the ULL, didn't ya? I actually forgot how good CLT-proper did with that one, as well. I guess this one isn't a slam dunk to top that (7-8" it looks like?).14 man 14 lol The Fab Feb 04 was my first ever double digit storm actually paying attention
