I'm still waiting to get the first colder than normal month in Sav in 2 years! I may finally get it this month! Odds are quite high despite the progged warmup since the first half will end up very cold.

January will be the 3rd BN in a row at RDU. Runing right at 20 below normal for January and it's 1/4 over.
Also the thaw is onky 3 days up here and it's back BN by Saturday with a possible storm to chase early next week.

It's going to be cold again next weekend, but anyone thinking it's going to be even colder than what we're just about to wrap up, just isn't thinking. Looking at the Euro/EPS city charts, the coldest it'll get might be similar but with a shorter duration.

Yea it was very close for north Alabama also.
