Does not look as if we will get another Center pass as the planes are vacating the area that makes landfall
It actually kind of did. It performed 3 MERC (Merging Eyewall Replacement Cycles) but this never caused Melissa to waver, the outer rings just merged with the insane inner and continued like nothing happened. Never seen a storm do this before on this scale.Too bad this is the one hurricane that decided to never do an eye wall replacement cycle most of the time one gets this strong for this long it will almost always undergo an eyeball replacement cycle
Yeah. They vacated as its too close to land and Jamaica's terrain poses too much risk to attempt another center pass.Does not look as if we will get another Center pass as the planes are vacating the area that makes landfall
I did not think it would make landfall at this strength. Terrifying. It will become a Cat 5 sub 900 mb. Max winds 185 mph and 893 mb is my guess.
For the people in the back, what is the 4-digit reading for 893 MB? 27.00 or lower??
Melissa has jogged rightward again. Still going to be extremely dicey in Montego Bay.Ryan Hall showing the montego bay livestream and its getting intense with the worst yet to come
