Us progressives begged him to do that from the get go. Bernie Sanders would have.
She's unbearable. I tried and watched for 1 minute, was all I could takeOk, sp that's pretty much over lol. Sunny Hostin talking now. Whew, I was getting worried there for a minute.
Did you vote for Biden and Clinton in the past elections?Us progressives begged him to do that from the get go. Bernie Sanders would have.
Trump will do it through congress for lower earners.Us progressives begged him to do that from the get go. Bernie Sanders would have.
Do you think we have the infrastructure to do this? If we don't that will only shrink inventories and still drive up prices.Build them in the USA. Boom! No tariff.
I asked months ago.....never got oneSomebody make a list of all of the left posters' fearmongering "worries" on here so we can run up the score in ~years when they are wrong yet again.
Well then trump must be crazy cause he is saying all these cars coming in from out of country and he's talking 1k 2k or maybe even 5k % tariffsBecause car prices are so reasonable right now. Last I checked Toyota's Honda's BMW's Kia's plus many more are made in USA.
Meh, they'll just move the goalposts.Somebody make a list of all of the left posters' fearmongering "worries" on here so we can run up the score in ~years when they are wrong yet again.
Makes me wonder. How much will one invest in building infrastructure if the next administration doesn't support it? Its kind of like building new refineries. It needs long term support and commitment to work.Do you think we have the infrastructure to do this? If we don't that will only shrink inventories and still drive up prices.
What GM can’t build another factory?Do you think we have the infrastructure to do this? If we don't that will only shrink inventories and still drive up prices.

What GM can’t build another factory?
How long is that going to takeWhat GM can’t build another factory?
That was going to be my next Point all these people that think they're going to bring jobs back to America Americans don't work for nothing so again the prices would reflect that and prices would go up so just be ready for itIt's not that GM can't build another factory.
It's that they don't want to be weighed down any more than they already are by a pesky labor union that fights for fair wages/benefits.

So since you have insight into the industry do they have the infrastructure to take on all car manufacturing in the US in the next 3 yearsI know that was your pont. I was just cutting through your BS word salad about *iNfRaStRuCtUrE*
And that perspective is why Kamala lost Michigan.
I say this as a Detroit native with family members who are UAW members and employed by the Big 3, BTW...
A good many of these places in the USA that already "build" cars don't really build them. They assemble them from parts imported. We should get back to making car parts for the American working man, cause that's who I am, and that's who I care about.
If you know, you know↑↑
You are not the brake pad King of the Midwest like you think you are Mr salinksiA good many of these places in the USA that already "build" cars don't really build them. Wow that was quick

We need stronger unions, better labor laws, and workers protections. Tesla was battling its employees who were trying to unionize, and with Mr Musk now in power I do not foresee the workers getting the better end of any future policies. There are no candidates fighting for the working class, Trump co-opted Working class struggles without offering any real solutions to their problems...I know that was your pont. There is a lot of infrastructure in place there, Detroit is a well built city that predates the automobile so it has actual urban bones other than the cheap, expensive sprawling suburban infrastructure the rest of the country relies on. I love the midwest, cheap homes and well built towns. Millions of vacant homesDetroit was a city built for 2 million people (we all know what he population is now), 2/3rds of its land is vacant but has "infrastructure" ready to immediately go back online for growth/development, and it has a massive underemployed workforced skilled in automotive.
But yes, those people do want to be compensated fairly..

How long do you think that process would take 1 year 2 years 6 months 4 years how long in your estimation would that take and what happens to car prices in between the time the tariffs take over and we start Mass producing car parts and car assembly plants here in AmericaDetroit was a city built for 2 million people (we all know what he population is now), 2/3rds of its land is vacant but has "infrastructure" ready to immediately go back online for growth/development, and it has a massive underemployed workforced skilled in automotive.

I have no issue with someone being transgender. To each their own. I have issue with them being a federally protected group in this country. The labels and names, and changing levels of what's acceptable needs to stop. Our world became more complicated when we couldn't define man vs woman. That needs to creep back into the fringe of society and it has absolutely zero place in our schools. The left lost a ton of votes over all of this and especially that Latin vote.Interesting.. The first transgender Congress person won in Delaware.
We what's this we stuff it'll be up to the businesses to decide whether or not they will build assembly factories and they choose not to it'll only benefit them because they'll still be able to charge an ass ton for a car control the supply and demand what they want the same way that oil companies don't build new oil refineriesThen we better get moving on it right away, instead of wasting time coming up with excuses about how hard it might be or how long it might take.
And it doesn't take long at all to build assembly plants. They can be built in under 2 years these days.
