Why don't they have ID? Just curious, my parents are in their 80s and both have ID.

That's wild to me, because it begs the question of how can so many people leave the house without having their driver's license or state I.D. on hand.

I often forget mine because I use my phone to pay for things now. I would be pretty pissed if I had to wait in a voting line and leave to get back in it later with my ID lol. However I doubt this is the issue

There's a decent amount of people in assisted living facilities that don't have ID. My grandmother didn't get a new id after she stopped driving. She has an expired license she used for id

Even then, you're still required by law to carry at least a driver's license on you when driving (which the vast majority of Americans do on a daily basis) unless you want to pay a costly ticket and have a ding on your insurance.
Ans these were older people too in this case. I doubt most of them are paying for things with their phone...

Well they probably didn’t need it in 2020 so thought it would be the same this election. I still brought mine but I didn’t need it last election. Different workers I suppose.
