If I had to bet, I'd assume a large chunk of people are upset at the costs of goods and realize Trump isn't going to/won't actually impose massive tariffs for the long term other than as a bargaining chip.

Combine that with the dark message of division, accusations of hate and discontent against Republicans and Trump, people are just tired of it.

What interests me is the raw amount of damage he did to the Democratic party as a whole. I mean, some places are very close, record close. Supposedly NY was lost the worst by Harris since the 1980s or something like that.

I'm not exactly sure what to make of congress also. Id assume his numbers in a lot of places just made enough of a tailwind to boost them. Surely they can't all be good candidates...

Anywho, very decisive win and I hope the country can improve along with an end to wars under his presidency.

I believe there were enough nefarious votes to swing the election in 2020. Not 16 million worth but enough.

I think that studying the political science/fallout from 2016, 2020, and now 2024 together, will hopefully shed some kind of light.

Was Hilary really that disliked? Are women just at a disadvantage in a presidential race?

Or was it Kamala kind of being thrown in, forcefully? Maybe it was just her interview and policy problems?

This election, the way it went, with more damage still incoming, tells me there's something very deeply rooted that even the experts are missing.

On a psychological level, are Americans just anxious to hate their government? Did this really get started with the Vietnam war, even?

There are so many questions that need to be answered, but by the time anyone could collectively source and get together about it, there's a midterm or another presidential election right around the corner.

There has to be more to this than COVID, the economy, a weak or strong candidate.

I'm personally wondering if things are being manipulated by a shadow, per say. Something is amiss.

So yeah, with all that said, you're right, that's a lot of missing votes. The left are blaming voter turnout on it, but is that really it? Manufacturing that many millions with absolutely no concrete proof seems hard to do.

Were just enough votes manufactured in GA and PA? That makes more sense.. but millions, like over 10 million nationwide?

And maybe all of this is just much easier explained by social media, for the most part, leans left. Maybe the echo chamber with no real challenge to alternate views and data is the actual reason.
 
Did Trump call it last night at 7 like we were told?

Are Trump supporters rioting in the streets like we were told?

Still on the list are:

Turning Russia into an ally
Ending abortion completely
Dissolving the constitution
Becoming a dictator for life
Placing 100% tariffs on everybody
Arresting all of his political enemies
Committing genocide like Hitler

What did I miss?
 
I went back in the archives of October 17th and realized that my friend toast predicted 302 electoral votes, not 312. He did say Michigan would be won by Arab votes though.

312 is looking fairly realistic, a long with the popular vote.

This is a massive statement election. Congratulations to everyone who still thinks independently. I started to doubt how many of us there were left in this country myself. It takes a lot to filter through the message we were told the last four years. To have our president go on National television and call us dangerous extremists. To watch formerly reasonable people, believe lie after lie and then the pack mentality take over. There's much that needs to change in this country but there's hope, because the process still works, and Americans are still strong enough to create that change.

They tried putting up a complete buffoon in a non-democratic fashion and play the American people for complete fools. There are a lot of foolish people out here, but like you said, thank God that there are still people around who can think and comprehend and make rational decisions.

It is, it was a measure to ban prison labor, which is in fact a form of slavery/involuntary servitude that was specifically outlined as an exception in the 13th amendment.

There was also a measure to increase the penalties for drug crimes....even California isn't progressive by any means.
 
And I'm going to say one more thing on this. Kamala Harris is quite possibly the worst candidate to ever run for president. She couldn't answer a single question, clearly articulate a policy stance, or put together a coherent sentence.

She ran a cowardly campaign, refusing to do real interviews or expose herself to situations where she could be challenged. She had no vision, and her only recurring tactic was the tired, played out, and ultimately ineffective Trump Is The Devil strategy.

In the end, the American people courageously stood up and roundly rejected her and all of her puppet masters. She got exactly what she deserved, and we are all better off for it.

Lets just hope this is a "real" rejection of Obama policy. It will be curious to see how the infighting goes when they start to eat each other the next few months
 
FWIW, per Fox News, there's still 177K votes remaining in Michigan (most of them in Wayne County). So with only a 90K lead for Trump, there's still a chance Kamala can win it, but it will be pyrrhic victory.

Also, seems there was quite a bit of ballot splitting for the Senate. The GOP may only get 53 seats aasuming they flip Casey's seat (still a modest lead there). Their leads in WI / MI / NV / AZ have already been given up...

My faith in humanity and the American people was restored last night. Just goes to show you, most people in the real world recognize just how bad things were, regardless of the lies spewed by the left. They didn't fall for graphs, charts, news articles, celebrity speeches, fake news but looked at their actual bank accounts and the lack of security surrounding them. As well as wars all over the world and as Thor said, they thought for themselves and sent a resounding message to the left.
There are still a ton of misguided youth out there and that's concerning, but hopefully they see things for what they are over the coming years and come around. God bless America! 🇺🇲
 
Ironic that the Harris watch party venue is littered with garbage. Liberals care about the environment as long as they don't actually have to take care of it themselves. But they will sure lecture you about what you're doing wrong.

Props to everyone involved in stopping the massive ballot harvesting and fraudulent absentee ballots. There were poll watchers and lawyers everywhere for this one, and there was just no way they were going to pull it off this time. I’ll say this again, anyone who thinks Biden got 81,000,000 votes organically needs to re-evaluate their logical thinking process.
