Why can't they only run out to 144 hrs and then run the ensembles out 240 hours? It would make things so much less crazy.

Does anyone actually truly believe we are going to see this cold air we can't seem to get over the past four or five years? I certainly don't, its been entertaining reading this forum over the past few days though, and I certainly appreciate those with model subscriptions breaking them down. I just hope that whoever gathers the data and maintains these supercomputers are able to eventually remedy the output so that they almost never show cold in the southeast. Southeast cold maps belong in a history museum.

I probably should have asked before I done it but I made a thread for the mountains. That way we have a place separate from the main discussion thread for people living in the mountains and people that may be traveling and want to know real time weather conditions.

One thing I liked about Buffalo, even when the radar has cleared, its still flurrying.
It scarred everyone on this board east of the apps. It's right up there with the winter of 11-12 in things I never want to experience again.
You need to add that Meteomark guy to your meme.
Might need to remove Cohen from the boat to add Meteomark. Cohen warned us a few days ago.

I miss the good old days when Burger would do play by plays and had to go off the four panel maps ???
He came back several years ago (4-5) for a big storm to do some play by play. Maybe it was on the other board. He was living in Amsterdam at the time.
Things were a lot simpler back then that's for sure. We sure had some good times too there was a lot of good knowledgeable posters back then too.
