Normally we can crank the heat up a few times between January and April. Then leave it on after that until about January again.
 
I do have a question that I have always wondered. I don’t know much about websites and moderators or even how you become a moderator. BUT my question is do moderators get paid to moderate? I’m assuming that’s not their full time job but then again how do they watch all day and all night? Just curious.

I wouldn’t be suprised to see the VA folks and the extreme northern foothills in NC get a bit of a surprise icing situation tomorrow. Heck it wouldn’t shock me is a lot of us might briefly see some sleet pellets as precip starts

I’ve never been paid to moderate. No T-shirt, complimentary weather model subscription, cruise, home weather station, or anything else. It’s a pretty thankless job we do to try to make this site as enjoyable as possible. We all have a love for the hobby.

Thanks for everything you do and I’ll say like I said before, If I don’t like something like a store, website, page…. Etc I just leave and go somewhere else, why come here and just complain? Go somewhere else or just enjoy all the FREE great information and if you choose to stay and don’t like how things are done then ??. Just my own opinion.

Pack is right. We get nothing and most of the stuff that is complained about is petty stuff that a lot of
members that doesn’t see.
