It went to Ohio for a day or two, about 4 days out
And I hate that storm anyway. 2 inches of slop after taking until like 4 in the afternoon to start!

Once in a multi generation event. Will never happen again. DPDan’s great great great great grandchildren won’t see 6” of total snow before that happens again.

Way too early for mets in the Deep South to talk about this due to the lack of support and how far out this is. One thing I’ve learned is that models just won’t keep the same look from cycle to cycle until maybe 3 days out. Many models keep the long wave pattern, but never the shortwave look. I think a lot of this is due to lack of sample size forecasting snow unlike mets in the MA/NE. IMO, the 12z suite was a coincidence, and I’d be shocked if there was a further consensus at 00z
