Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Random question, but does the salt brine that DOT sprays do anything? I imagine it does since they always spray a few days before any event, and why else would they keep doing it?

But its hard to understand just how it works since the rain would presumably wash it away.

It does a great job of getting on your vehicle and making a royal mess!
 
I’ve looked at all the models I can find and have come to the realization I can’t will this thing into a bigger system. I’d take a solid inch and be happy as long as I get more snow than Greensboro.
 
see, the models are having a trouble depicting the storm cause birdman hacked into them a while back and added a "sky healing" algorithm
