That's unusual; clipper systems rarely have freezing rain. They're almost always snow or just rain.
Well northern 1/4 of bama trending in this one. Kinda shocked.

I feel like this one is clinging to life up here. Really close on rain/snow. Any NW trend and we are dead here.

Being just north of the line however could payout well
Really the same areas that just got hit, a tick north in latitude, 1/2 the previous event but the Shenandoah Valley, WV/VA mountains will do well, TN/NC Apps will add on too.

The Euro clips down into Alabama and extreme N. Georgia. . About as much of Tennessee that can see snow in a single event sees it this run. Really hard to get NW Tennessee and SE Tennessee in the same storm.

Not to many of us middle Tennessee folk on here. If there’s a good snow coming and the pages aren’t quickly adding up it usually means it’s middle or eastern Tennessee threat. Lol

As it stands it’s looking like a sold chance at at least 2-3 inches here. All the models are in pretty good agreement unless something silly happens tomorrow and they change drastically.
Weather nerds has already proven to be a weenie model site, often showing snow where soundings don’t even support snow and showing it farther south when in reality it’s incorrect.

Still hoping for a southern jog in the SLP track to help far north AL, but it’s not looking good. .01 ZN, .1 IP, and .25 SN, all washed away by the mixed in rain just isn’t my cup of tea. 30 miles north of the southern TN state line, northward into KY should look like another winter wonderland in about 30 hours. Congrats!
