Funny story. I know right now is different but a couple years ago I went to Tahoe and it only snowed like a half inch ?

I mean yeah there was tons of fake snow at the ski resorts but that's not the same ?
 
Picked up 3 reels at Walmart today on the clearance aisle! 10$ apiece! 100$ worth of reels for 30$ Also got 3 Lews speed stick rods for 10$ apiece, Original price 85$ apiece! Good pattern apparently don't exist anymore. Everytime theres a -AO/-NAO, there's always a strongly - PNA to offset any blocking. Everytime there's a +PNA, there's a strongly +AO and a PV forming around Alaska to offset that. At this rate, winters of 2020s might be going down the path towards winters during the 90s for areas east of the Mountains if we contiue to have this sort of luck.

---- the ---- man I’ve had enough of this, I’m not posting on here for a while until we finally get something nice, I’m legitimately tired of finding ways to fail everytime, it’s like it’s so hard to get something just for once, while areas out west that average similar stuff (Seattle) get dumped on, we get good flashes at hour 300+ only to find ways to fail as we get closer, yes I’m melting down

Honestly hasn't been much fantasy snow yet. It's been rough for sure. Our coldest low is only 26 so far which is a joke. Saturday Night might have a little though ? I suspect somewhere between here and Oklahoma City gets an inch or two

Typical passive aggressive post from you. I can't help you don't know what it means. You make comments about things and don't have any idea what you're talking about and then quote other people or link papers to avoid discussion. If you want to do that fine. But don't get your underoos in a wad when asked to talk about it.

If you knew what you were looking at, you'd clearly see that that setup isn't very good for a big winter storm here. It's not about wishing in a snowstorm. I mean, you can do that and often do do that. But if you're going to come in and say something dumb like "someone will always point out what will go wrong" then be prepared to discuss it or take a little flak. You of all people should know that most of the time, these things don't work out, even with a good setup....much less a setup featuring a rainstorm 16 days out with maybe a front end sleet pellet.
